If you have light colored leather seats (i.e. white, beige, tan) and you wear blue jeans you may find that your leather is stained blue. Here's how to remove the blue stain left by your jeans. By the way, this also works on white leather sneakers stained by jeans. What You'll Need: einszett Leather Care einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner 100% cotton towel or foam applicator pad
Solution Most leather today has a clear coat finish on the surface (for more information, read "Proper Leather Care"). This type of leather is called 'finished' leather. The benefit of having this clear finish on the leather is that it reduces maintenance and prevents damage to the leather hide. Protected by the clear finish, the hide is protected from everyday wear and tear including staining.
To remove this stain, simply treat the leather with einszett Leather Care. The cleaners in the formula will remove the stain and at the same time it will condition the finish. Stubborn Stain? If the stain is not coming out, you'll need to use a stronger cleaner. Making sure the leather is cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight, apply einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner to the stained area. Allow it to work for no more than 3 minutes and then wipe with a clean damp cloth. Repeat process until stain is removed. Follow-up with an application of Leather Care to condition and seal the finish. Process complete. If you have any questions, contact us!
