einszett Klima-Cleaner is a highly effective, water-based cleaner for the air conditioning system. Its unique active ingredients together with its odor-neutralizing agents are based on a very mild yet effective formula. All parts of the air conditioning system, including ventilation ducts, are thoroughly cleaned and protected from future odor causing elements. By applying treatment, you will benefit from fresher smelling air and the air conditioning system will run more efficiently.

Directions:

CAUTION: Read directions completely before application. Recommended for professional application. Turn off ignition, air conditioning and fan system. Adjust fan position to DIRECT and make sure it is NOT on the 'foot' or 'defrost' position. Shake can well for one minute to ensure proper foaming of product when dispensed. Attach the supplied spray tube to aerosol can and insert end of tube into center or passenger side air conditioner vent located on the dash in the cockpit interior. With tube fully inserted in vent, press trigger to dispense contents. DO NOT invert can when dispensing. As you spray, the thick foam solution will travel through the air vents towards the evaporator (the source of odor causing elements). After dispensing product, wait 20 minutes for product to clean the system. Then, open doors to allow fresh air to enter vehicle. Turn on fan to maximum setting with A/C setting in ON position for approximately 1 minute to dry system. Procedure is now complete. WARNING: Use only as directed. Professional application recommended. Damage may occur if product is not applied properly. Professional Application Instructions:

Option 1: Apply Klima-Cleaner tube through the evacuation/drain tube of the evaporator core located underneath the vehicle.

Option 2: Remove blower and insert tube through main ducting of housing.

The following pictures below and illustration to the right show the location of the evaporator, the system that cools your car's cockpit air and the source of your car's interior odor.

Located underneath the dashboard, the evaporator housing contains the evaporator and all dashboard ducting connects to the housing. These pictures help illustrate why applying Klima-Cleaner through the central air vents is the most direct approach to the evaporator unit.

In addition to the methods of installation mentioned above, professionals may also remove the blower motor unit which will reveal ducting that leads to the evaporator (check with vehicle manufacturer for procedure) . Once the blower is removed an opening to the housing will be revealed. Guide the tube for Klima-Cleaner into the unit and direct it towards the evaporator. Once tube is fully inserted and as close to the evaporator as possible apply product. DO NOT invert can when dispensing. After dispensing product, wait 20 minutes for product to work. Re-install blower, open windows to allow sufficient ventilation and then turn fan unit and temperature to maximum setting for one minute to dry the system.
